Steve is the proud father of four children and three
grandchildren. He was born and raised in Rock Hill and has made the funeral profession his career. In the late 80's he
ran the Mineral Springs Bluegrass Barn where he associated with many great musicians.
Steve joined Ridge Hill as
their mandolin player and sings lead and tenor parts. His strong solid chop blends with the musical style of the other
band members to produce that hard driving bluegrass sound.
Although his father never played an instrument,
Steve credits him for his exposure and love of country music. But it was his grandfather who passed down the bluegrass
gene.
